Copyright Notice

The copyright policy for work published in Kemal Tahir Çalışmaları rests on three principles: protecting the author’s rights, ensuring the open-access circulation of the work and securing the requirement of attribution.

Ownership of Copyright

Authors retain the copyright in their published work. The permissions required for publication are settled through the “Copyright, License and Submission Declaration” section of the Title Page at submission; no separate copyright transfer form is required.

All published work is made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. This license permits the sharing, copying, redistribution, adaptation and building upon of the work in any medium or format, including commercial use, provided that appropriate attribution is given to the original work.

Author Commitments

On the Title Page, each author explicitly signs the following commitments under the “Copyright, License and Submission Declaration” section:

• Originality. The work is the author(s)’ original work; it does not contain plagiarism and does not infringe the intellectual property rights of others.
• No concurrent submission. The work has not been published elsewhere and is not under concurrent consideration at any other journal.
• Contribution and approval of all authors. All authors have substantively contributed to the work, have seen and approved its final version and accept public responsibility.
• Acceptance of liability. Liability for any third-party claim arising from copyright infringement rests with the author(s); the journal and the publisher bear no responsibility.

Third-Party Content

Authors are responsible for obtaining the necessary permissions in advance for any third-party material used in their work (images, tables, figures, extended quotations and the like). Liability for third-party content rests exclusively with the author(s).

Attribution Requirement

Under the CC BY 4.0 license, any reuse of work published in the journal must give complete and accurate attribution, including author name, article title, journal name, volume and issue information, page range and DOI.
